I love books...
and over the last 30 years I've been lucky enough to be designing them. Starting in the late 80s at Quarto, then onto Dorling Kindersley for a further 12 years as an in-house freelance in the Jackets Department where we pushed to get away from the white cut-out covers and succeeded on several occasions. Since then I've been working from home for Vision Sports Publishing, Scholastic and Simon and Schuster amongst others. For the last 10 years I've been juggling work with being a stay-at-home dad to my two kids, which means I have my own focus group whenever I have to do anything to do with dinosaurs (a lot), snakes, creepy crawlies or sharks (almost as much as dinosaurs).
Iām always on the look out for work, and with the kids getting older and more independent I am finding more and more free-time that needs filling. So if you like my work and would like to discuss possible projects, please contact me using the details below:
